In this week’s episode, I share the lessons I’ve learned so far after 20 conversations about what makes different people happy.
These lessons are:
- Simple things make a big impact on people’s happiness
- It’s important to acknowledge what makes us happy
- While we can find common grounds, what makes us happy is unique
- Happiness and cheerfulness are different
- What makes you happy can inform what’s important to you
I also shared my goals, which include growing the platform to its self-sustaining, so I can reach to more people.
If you would like to read an extended version of these notes, check out the blog post I wrote about it.
I want to take this milestone to express how grateful I am to those of you who have made this project happen. Those of you who have pushed me to start this project, including Jason Zappolo who has backed me up from day 1 and has been a great consultant and audio editor, and Kathleen Shannon, who you heard from in an early episode, who motivated me to just take action on the podcast. To those of you who have given me your time and supported the project by letting me record our conversations about what makes you happy. To those who have connected me with different guests. To those who work on the production of the podcast; I already mentioned Jason who edits all the episodes, and also Orly Margulis who is constantly helping me with social media and RocÃo Castañeda for weekly show notes, newsletter content, and general consulting. So thankful for every single listener, and especially those who send me supportive feedback. I appreciate every single person helping me make this project happen.
